Why is my wife's bond cash only, not 10%?
My wife was picked on a warrants 2 weeks ago. If has a $5000 cash only bond, not 10%. A week later the prosecuting attorney called me and said that the judge reduced the bond by $1000. I'm sorry but I don't have that kind of money just laying around and told her that I cannot do that. She then says that she can ask the judge if she can get out on no bond and have another year probation. Just kinda curious of why they would do this?

It has everything to do with the charges, the criminal history of the offender, the judge/prosecutors confidence that the person will not leave the jurisdiction

It has everything to do with the charges, the criminal history of the offender, the judge/prosecutors confidence that the person will not leave the jurisdiction and that there would not be additional crimes committed. That is a lot to contemplate, but it might just be that there was limited space in the jail and she was the least likely for them to have a problem with.
