my bf got picked up for a warrant, for 1st time probation violation for way less than an ounce of weed on him, anyone who as been here before in his shoes, will he be in jail for a long time, when will I see him again?

Violation of parole is dumb. You put yourself at the mercy of the judge that had leniency for you. The penalty could be as stiff as having to finish the remaining months on the original sentence with no possibility of an early release. Anything less than that, he should consider himself lucky.

My dad has a 20 to life sentence with the possibility of parole . He has 6 more years until he sees the parole board In the state of Nevada. How likely will he get granted his 1st chance .

This has everything to do with his record while incarcerated and how well his interview goes. There are no ways to estimate how the outcome will turn out, but if he's been a model inmate and followed all the programming recommendations then he has the best possible chance at a successful result.

first time probation violation, PO wants restitution paid, will that work?

Restitution means paying back the money that was "lost during the commission of the crime". If the restitution is $6,000, it sounds like she is getting a VERY good deal to avoid doing more time. Her PO seems like a reasonable, decent person. Most POs show zero tolerance for violators. We strongly recommend taking this offer and doing whatever she can to paying the fee and then keep her nose clean.

My daughter got 240 days for not doing all of her probation days.. Do you think she will have to do them all

Yes, 100%. The probation was her leniency. By breaching the generosity provided by the court, she has no other options but to finish out the remaining days left incarcerated.

If probation was revoked with an original time of 3 yrs how long needs to be done before parole is an option?

Once the parole is revoked, there are no more options for early release.

if me and my cousin are on parole and probation can we still see each other and talk to each other even though we are both convicted felons..his mom is my mom's sister and our family is very close.

You will need to get permission from the Office of Probation to communicate with another felon

Can my boyfriend get paroled to my house if I'm on probation

You will have to get permission for that. It is not a normal request, but if your boyfriend has a good job and your residence appears clean and free of drugs, alcohol and firearms you might get special approval.

If a inmate goes back to prison on a parole violation with no new charges and he loses his hearing and community supervision is revoked. does he get another hearing after 6 months or does he have to serve the remainder of the sentence?

We don't think so. He will most likely have to complete the remainder of the original sentence without the benefit of any relief or early release (again). It would appear he used up his chances that the judge offered at sentencing.

My bf was arrested for probation violation.. Unpaid fines... He was sent to a restitution center to pay his fines... My question is.. How long will he be detained for a fine of rite at $3000??????

a probation violation puts the violator at risk of having to finish the original sentence. anything less than that would be considered a win

Yes I have a friend whose son is on probation and he was locked up again. I was wondering will he go back to prison or since his probation is over March 2019 they will not extend his probation

He will most probably have to finish the remainder of his original sentence. If he didn't catch another charge, he should be out in March or thereabouts.
