You can send pretty much anything as long as there are no drugs, tattoos or gang depictions in the picture. If you are interested in "sexy pictures", they are acceptable as long as there are no private parts visible. Photos with you in lingerie or a bikini are perfectly fine, just try and keep it as tasteful as possible.

Can Unpaid Probation Fees Extend an Inmate Release Date?
It is legal if the judge built it into the original sentencing order.…
It is legal if the judge built it into the original sentencing order. This is more common than most people realize. When a judge sentences someone and there are fines or supervision fees attached, the sentencing document sometimes includes a provision that ties early release or a specific release date to payment of those amounts. If that language is in his order, then failing to pay the fees before his release date gives the court or the facility the authority...

How can they detain him in the SHU without filing charges?
An inmate who is under investigation for conspiracy to smuggle contraband has basically no rights.…
An inmate who is under investigation for conspiracy to smuggle contraband has basically no rights. They are not entitled to a lawyer; they are not entitled to privileges afforded to other inmates. Privileges such as phone time, commissary and visitation may be taken away for months and months because they are not a basic inmate right; they are "an extra". Inmates lose sight of the fact that they are prisoners of the jurisdiction where they are sentenced. Some think that...

It depends on him. If he wants to break the cycle of being incarcerated, then he will go straight. If he is too institutionalized he will keep going back. You already know this, but he is the only one that can decide, you can't do it for him.

Sentences of that length are not revisited simply because time has passed or because the sentence feels disproportionate to the family. Courts operate on the record that existed at the time of sentencing, and absent...

How Do I Turn Myself In When My PO Is Not Responding?

There is no real answer. The probation officer will get to the violation when he gets around to it. There is no rhyme or reason, we can empathize with your situation, but they go on their own timetable. There is an outside chance that they will NOT violate him for lack of payment because they are mindful that jobs and money are hard to come by. Non-payment is not the worse offense they see so maybe this PO is in...
