when i put my inmates name . the computer says not found and gives me the option to create a new one . what does that mean? if they cant find her, does that mean shee doesnt have an account with you?

There are three types of search - two are free.

First choice is that most of the facilities have their own search link. We provide that link on all the prison pages under "find an inmate at this facility".

The second is the search of the InmateAid database which is "user-generated content". Users create an inmate profile to correspond with their inmate using the InmateAid services. If there are no profiles for the inmate you are seeking, then you may create one. Famous inmates have several profiles created by many members.

The third way is a paid search. Their information is the freshest available data and for that reason they charge a fee to retrieve that information. People use the site's resources in the way that it suits their needs best.
