Will my inmate stay with me when he is released?

Hello, My question is. My man has been in prison for a great deal of time. we've had our ups and downs. was to be married and he got in trouble and we lost that. Now he' getting ready to get out in the next couple of years. Will he be able to be faithful or will he feel the need to run wild for awhile and get it all out of his system? Hes in his mid 40'and been locked up 25 years. I have never cheated on him not once, but I did leave him once for a a period of time, and I really hurt him badly. I came back and faced my mistakes and have taken it slow and easy with him for the last 2 years. Now we talking marriage again. If this isnt your area of expertise I'm sorry for wasting your time.

We receive many of these type of questions. Our answer is quite simple, you know this man and know him better than anyone else. Us giving you advice whether to stay or go would be irresponsible of us. Generally speaking, if he was loyal while he was free he will be loyal when he gets out. If he ran around when he was free... you know what is going to happen. BUT, our experience is that many, many inmates use women on the outside to keep their commissary account full and have no intention of staying in the relationship. That being said, this inmate lost his wife to another man while he was incarcerated. When he got out, love prevailed and we got back together and are together today. So love can overcome the separation. Forgiveness is required from both sides. Good luck!!
