They do NOT get less good time. All inmates get the exact same privilege - it is up to them whether they keep it. Inmates are granted a 15% good time credit the day they are incarcerated. Only the inmate's failure to follow the rules would cause them to lose any or all of this privilege.

You are not allowed to send soft back albums (or ANY packages at all) into a federal prison. You can send your inmate money and at the federal commissary she can buy a photo album. You can then send individual photos and she can arrange the photo book herself and keep it in her locker. Now there you have it, a break!

If he is not in the state prison system or the federal BOP, there are no online postings for release dates. Even some states still do not have the release dates posted on their website.  We would simply ask your inmate, because every inmate knows the exact day they are leaving.

Strange that he won't tell you a date to pick him up...  Call the counselor or the case manager, see if they will share that information with you. If you don't know a date, and he won't tell you... maybe he has other arrangements??

Yes, the medical records are the property of the inmate and are allowed a copy. Have him fill out a "cop out" request for them.
