it does happen sometimes, you read about guards getting caught up in things with the inmates. once the affair is exposed, the offending guard is prosecuted and charged with a felony. Their punishment: the inmate gets a few months in the SHU but the prison guard ends up an inmate in prison themselves.

The call list should remain intact with the transfer. Depending on their local rules, he should be able to call once he gets assigned his new housing situation.

Not under those circumstances. If the person with the order on them fails to appear, they are lucky of the judge doesnt have  abench warrant for that alone. The protective order isnt protecting the offender, it's protecting someone from them - they have no ability to remove it whatsoever.

Florida gives 15% good time credits at the beginning of their sentence. Parole is set by the judge at the time of sentnecing. If the judge allows for parole, then the offender will be eligible to apply at the 1/3 mark in their sentence. The transfers are internal and we would only be guessing as to why (it's not always something negative).
