I was told my friends parents she was at Lucile Plane Jail in Dayton but could never find her on their list of inmates. I found her listed at Hutchinson Jail up past Dallas. she was sentenced in Harris county, would they really send her that far ?

During fire season how long can an inmate be gone from the facility if called on a “fire”?

If you are referring to the California Inmate Firefighters Program, they could be out in the forest for weeks at a time during the heaviest season.

I'm not sure how to put this? If other inmates ask you to do something that is illegal or you do not want to do. How would you say no without pissing other inmates off?

This is a slippery slope for sure... He needs to separate himself from this group if he is hanging with inmates who are still looking to break laws even while incarcerated. But if he's running with this crowd, he's gonna be guilty by association even if he declines. If he's truly serious, he really needs to do whatever he can, including seeking a transfer, to not be in a position where additional charges get tacked onto his sentence.

How often does an inmate arrive from another facility and directly straight to the hole? For simply knowing someone who works there. Going a month in the hole for the stupidest reason punished for knowing a worker. Completely bullshit

Most inmates on transfer might spend a night or a week in the SHU awaiting a bed in the facility. The situation you are referring to is called "separatee", where two inmates are either co-defendants OR "they know each other" and are required to be segregated. There are two types of segregation outlined by the Bureau of Prisons: disciplinary and administrative detention. This one is administrative.

How can someone incarcerated in the State of California file for divorce if he doesn’t know where the Respondent lives ? But have not had contact since the Respondent abandoned the petitioner.

Inmates have a lot of time on their hands and filing court cases is a common occurrence, including divorce. The court has to assist with an investigator to serve the papers

Is Trousdale Turner a safe place for a pregnant doctor to work? Any advice of things to look for that make a facility safer or less safe for this?

Accepting that you need to change to make your new life a success is the focus and goal when you get released. Successful re-entry requires an overhaul of how you live. You cannot go back to the same streets, you have to plot a new path and go it without people that were in the life you led before
