Sometimes, the orientation period if different depending on when you arrive. If A & O is done every Wednesday, like the federal facilities, and you get there on Tuewday, you wait one day, if you get there on a Wednesday, you'll have to wait a week.

No. The medical procedure will take place in a hospital under guard. When he is released from the hospital, he'll be transported to his current facility and do rehab there. They will have him on work restriction or whatever the doctor orders. But no one gets released for medical reasons unless they are in hospice.

Unfortunately, there are no programs for early release for sex offender in the state of Maine. There are mandatory programs that the inmate must complete but none leads to a shortening of the sentence. Then there is the long probation period following release along with mandatory registration in the Sex Offender Registry that remains on their record forever. There is no second chance for a bond if you are stupid enough to get arrested while out on a bond. Usually, the judge who was generous and lenient allowing you to remain free while awaiting your trial would laugh at such a request. Leavenworth Detention Center operated by CoreCivic, formerly CCA uses IC Solutions as their carrier. The rates are the lowest if your number is local to the facility. If you are out of state, we would provide a local Leavenworth number that you would register as your own and use until your inmate is released.
