we do not have that information. they will not alert the outside when an inmate is set for transfer either, so that the safety and security of the officers transporting inmates remains at the highest level.

Inmate transfer can be good or bad. Inmates get moved sometimes as a reward for good behavior. The transfer send them to a lower custody facility where doing time is a bit easier. The transfer that sends them for disciplinary reasons is bad. Usually, they are transferred to punish and restrict their movements.
Inmates get moved for many reasons. Some of the reasons are actually good for the inmate. When an inmate has done a good portion of their sentence with little or no incident reports, they may qualify for a lower custody level which would gve them the option of moving to a less strict facility. My brother is in the Wichita Falls County Jail in Texas and will be transfered to a SAFPF facility. Could you find out for me ,which facility he will go to?
The DOC will not tell you where an inmate is going until they have arrived - for the safety and security of all involved in the transfer

Therefore, I feel that the time I've done has helped me enjoy my life now and ahead more than I knew I could. ...Read more

My son has been in the county since August 10 2016 he is waiting to go to east Texas treatment facility. What is taking so long for him to be picked up and does his time account for anything???
Your inmate's transfer might be held up becasue of over-crowding or becasue there are other charges pending in another jurisdiction. They call those "detainers" and they can get in the middle of transfers and releases. As an aside, he will be credited for every single day he is serving in county and it will go towards ANY sentence he was imposed.
