To communicate with your inmate, you can write letters or send photos - you will have to go to your My Account area and click on the "Inmate Pages" and then click "Letters". You will be able to communicate to them through there. InmateAid syncs up the information on the inmate's page and the prison page that you selected as where they are incarcerated.

Most locations do not limit the number of books or magazines an inmate may receive. As long as you are using the Amazon corporate website purchase and not one of their third-party affiliate sellers. They are mixed in the site offering lower priced used books that will definitely get rejected. Amazon can get the paperback books delivered because they are a recognized "publisher".

The prison education department proxies the testing for the universities that provide "distance learning". There are several available and they don't have to be located in Ohio. County jails provide the essentials like 3 meals per day, soap, toothpaste and a tooth brush. There is the commissary which is a store inside the jail.
